So Eric and I have both recently acknowledged that most of what makes this whole blog thing fun... is the comments! So to our faithful commenter's... (yes, even those of you whose opinion we don't always appreciate).. Ahem... (John Moran)... we say "thank you"!

I don't know how I came across your blog a couple of weeks ago, but when I did, I started at the very beginning and read every entry. You are an amazing person. I was so touched by your desire and faithfulness to be Ricky's mother. He was truely blessed. I was a foster mother for 8 years and had 60 babies and know a little bit about the love you shared.

John... just let me apologize for my wifes rude comment regarding "how we don't appreciate certain comments". I for one do appreciate your comments. I just chalk Meg's ramblings up to that good ole' wife defense mechanism... you know the one where you call them out on something and some how it gets turned back on to you. I'm not sure how all women have this but somehow it goes back to the garden and they just keep passing it down. Remember how Eve messed up and ate the apple (modern day "went out shopping" and somehow it turned out to be Adams fault. So I like a couple new shirts every summer and some orange juice and yes maybe even some socks w/o holes which I buy at TJ Maxx (3 pair for $5.00, not 40$ for one bra). Anyway... you get the picture.
It's official! I'm ENGAGED!!!!! Steve proposed tonight. I was trying to login to my blog to post, but can't for some reason, but as soon as I do I will post a picture or two of the ring!!!
Meghan, I guess I need to put a similar post on our blog as you just did because Susie keeps hounding me about how nobody leaves comments on our page. However I think the problem might lay in the fact that our reading base is 65 and over and they are lucky to even navigate to our page. Maybe I should give detailed step by step instructions on how to leave a comment and then the comments will just start flooding in -hmmmm.
