Eliot Mooney

Eliot Mooney is a little boy that was born with Trisomy 18. His parents were not sure that he would survive his birth, and once he did, they lived with the unknown of when God would choose to call him home. I have followed his parent's blog for quite awhile now. But today I felt led to share the video that they made about his life. I relate in so many ways... the greatest of which being the incredible experience of learning life's greatest lessons from the shortest lifetimes. Please take the time to watch the whole thing. You will be blessed... I promise.

You should have warned that we'd need a box of Kleenex for that video.

What a beautiful story. What a beautiful life.

Precious one...absolutely precious. I am overwhelmingly blessed by the family's offering that the Lord revealed himself through their little son's life. I cannot imagine their pain but I am thankful they share their promise of salvation in Christ and the reuniting one day with their little guy.
I pray life is going well for you..

Oh my gosh Meg...totally agree with Melissa on this one! What an amazing couple, what amazing parents, what amazing Faith! I could only hope to look at each day the way they did with their beautiful miracle Eliot. Thank you for re-focusing me today with this post. I needed to remember what is truly important in life, and not to get caught up in all the junk. Missing you friend! :(

Meghan,
Thanks for posting that video. I've watched it before, with a box of Kleenex, thankfully, as it is so sweet and sad at the same time. I love that they celebrated every day! What a testimony to parents to do that same with their children that are still on earth. What a testimony for all of us to live one day at a time for the Glory of God!

Meghan, thanks for that post. I saw their story on a trisomy 18 website after reading about Brekin. Today I have been really worried about finances and this little guy just put everything into the correct perspective. Thanks.
